“I'm going to start something I call TruthGPT or something που αναζητά τη μέγιστη αλήθεια και προσπαθεί να κατανοήσει τη φύση του σύμπαντος”, είπε ο Musk. “Νομίζω ότι αυτός μπορεί να είναι ο καλύτερος δρόμος για την ασφάλεια με την έννοια ότι μια τεχνητή νοημοσύνη που ενδιαφέρεται για την κατανόηση του σύμπαντος είναι απίθανο να εξολοθρεύσει τους ανθρώπους επειδή είμαστε ένα ενδιαφέρον μέρος του σύμπαντος” (λέει τώρα ο Musk, what if AI discovers that the universe would be better off without us. My note.).

Musk cited TruthGPT as a course correction for OpenAI, the nonprofit AI software organization he helped found, and has since launched a for-profit subsidiary.

Musk hinted that OpenAI's profit motive could potentially influence the ethics of the AI models it creates and positioned “TruthGPT” as a more transparent option.

In March, Musk and over a thousand other people in the industry signed on an application with which they called the laboratories  to halt the training of powerful artificial intelligence systems for at least six months to allow the development of common security protocols. He also quietly founded a new artificial intelligence company called X. AI.
