Elon Musk today ordered SpaceX staff to delete their Facebook page. Later followed by other Musk company pages, such as the Tesla and SolarCity pages.
All together, Elon Musk's pages had over 5 million registered friends.

The move took place in less than an hour, in response to a challenge from a Twitter user.
Musk's move follows Mozilla's announcement on Wednesday and reports stopping Facebook ads.
Of course, as you already know, these are reactions after the revelations about the scandal Cambridge Analytica.
But even though the institution Mozilla and Elon Musk seem to have taken drastic anti-Facebook measures, too many companies are not deleting their Facebook pages and not stopping advertising through the largest social network.

Later it was learned that companies used Facebook data to create 50 psychological profiles of millions of social network users from 2015.

In response to the scandal, the company's CEO Mark Zuckerberg admitted that trust between Facebook and users has been lost, and that the company is preparing a series of changes to the app platform that will stop access to third-party data collection.
But don't expect miracles: Facebook, like the Google relies on data collection. So it would be good not to expect too much after Zuckerberg's promises.
