Elon Musk because he changed his name to Elona Musk

Ο Elon Musk changed his name on Twitter to "Elona Musk" on Wednesday, when Chechen warlord Ramzan Kadyrov mocked the billionaire.

Kadyrov, head of the Russian republic of Chechnya and an ally of the Russian president Putin referred to Musk several times on Tuesday in response to the Tesla CEO's tweet causing Putin to "duel".

In his Telegram post, the warlord stated that Putin would beat Musk in a fight. He called Musk "sweet Elona" and drew comparisons between the two men, saying they were in "two completely different weight classes." He called Putin "a global politician, a general, an enemy of the West and of ”, while for Musk he said that he was just an “entrepreneur and blogger on Twitter”.

Musk reiterated his challenge to Putin and told him that the President's training would give him an "excessive advantage". The billionaire signed his tweet as "Elona" and changed his name on Twitter with the nickname given to him by Kadyrov.

In Russia, "Ilona" is a feminine name . So "Elona" appears to be a feminine form of Musk's name, with which Kadyrov seems to imply that Musk is not man enough to take on Putin.

Kadyrov is known as one of Putin's biggest supporters. The quasi-autonomous Republic of Chechnya, which Putin officially took over in 2011, is known for its anti-LGBTQ crimes, as well as the forced marriage of underage girls. In an interview with an HBO reporter in 2017, the warlord said he was proud that the Chechen Republic had no LGBTQ, and if they had stayed, the country would have "cleansed the her".

Kadyrov has been repeatedly accused of widespread use of torture, disappearances and the murder of members of the LGBTQ community.
