The Endeavor is a Linux distribution (rolling release) based on Arch Linux. The project aims to be its spiritual successor Antergos, providing an easy-to-install and default Arch-based desktop environment.
EndeavourOS uses Xfce as its desktop by default and is installed with the Calamares graphical installer.
The latest version of the distribution has just been released in 2020.04.11, and comes with some custom utilities to improve package management and better bug reporting.
"We present you our latest release which is full of new features and improvements. New built-in applications - Manuel has created some new applications and tools to make the EndeavourOS experience a little smoother:
Pahis - a tool that displays the packet history in the terminal,
Eos-log-tool - a GUI application to create a log file required to report errors in the forum or on the error reporting page.
Eos-rankmirrors – ranks (only) and Endeavour mirror.
Existing EndeavourOS applications have some bug fixes and have all been ported to ZSTD.
Other functions and updates: Linux kernel 5.6.3, Firefox 75.0 , Mesa 20.0.4, Calamares 3.2.20, automatic updates from its database NVIDIA for NVIDIA installer, fixes and improvements for EOS package builders.”
