On Friday, Twitter's new owner Elon Musk released a poll asking whether Trump should be allowed back on the platform. Just over 15 million people voted, so 51,8% voted to reinstate Trump on Twitter.
In July 2022, when Twitter filed its last quarterly earnings report before going private company, the platform had approximately 237,8 million monetized daily active users. However, when Musk's poll ended on Saturday a small fraction of the company's user base voted.
"The people have spoken. Trump will be reinstated. Vox Populi, Vox Dei,' He wrote Musk tweeted, citing a Latin phrase that translates to "the voice of the people, the voice of God."

Meanwhile, the former president announced this weekteam that he will run for the nation's highest office once again in 2024.
Trump's Twitter ban came just days after her riots January 6 at the Capitol of the US, in which insurgents attempted to violently overturn the results of the 2020 presidential election.
“After careful consideration of recent Tweets from the @realDonaldTrump account and the environment surrounding them – specifically how they are received and interpreted within and except of Twitter – we have permanently suspended the account due to the risk of further inciting violence,” He wrote Twitter on his blog in January 2021.
