ESET is participating in the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona (February 27 – March 2, 2017), where it will present its latest solutions specifically for business and mobile platforms, its latest research as well as its strategy in accordance with the regulation of personal data protection of the EU. More information regarding the company's presence at the conference are available at special page.
ESET's new Threat Intelligence services will be presented at the conference. Services anticipate and warn businesses of real-time risks, giving them even more flexibility to adapt to a rapidly changing threat landscape. Targeted attacks, advanced APTs, zerodays and botnet attacks are included in analysis of Threat Intelligence services. In addition, the services are available to security teams of large organizations and operational security centers (Security Operation Centers) for the analysis of specific types of malware and the provision of specialized information on their operation and effects.
In ESET's latest research, an important place is occupied by the topic of threats on mobile devices and, in particular, ransomware that attacks the Android platform by encrypting archives and locking the screen. ESET researchers will present a white paper with the latest findings, while ESET Chief Technology Officer Juraj Malcho will give a presentation on the topic at the conference. In a related statement he said "Every year we observe the gradual increase of this threat, generally on all platforms and more specifically on mobile devices. However, users are still not protecting themselves properly, nor are they paying enough attention to responsible online behavior."

"Data security is a key element of EU regulation that obliges businesses to ensure adequate protection of personal data. The solutions and technology of ESET are well prepared to address the main aspects of these EU requirements," says Palo Balaj, ESET's Head of EMEA Business Development, who will also be on the ESET stand at the conference.
Among other top ESET executives, Ignacio Sbampato, Chief Business Officer, and Miroslav Mikus, EMEA Sales and Marketing Director, will be available for meetings.
For business entrants, ESET CTO Juraj Malcho will present the latest security trends in ESET's specially designed Networking Event on Tuesday 28 February 16.00-18.00 hours at MWC Networking Garden 3 / 5.
