Ο European Space Agency (ESA) collects messages from people from all over the world to send them 434 light years away at Polaris.
All you have to do is go to Website “A Simple Response to an Elemental Message” and answer the question "How will our present environmental interactions shape the future?" (How will our current environmental interaction shape the future?)
This initiative is a collaboration between the European Space Agency, the UK Astronomical Center of Technology, the University of Edinburgh and researchers from John Hopkins University and the European Southern Observatory.
Once the above team has collected your answers (the deadline for submitting applications is 16 September), the ESA Cerveros antenna in Madrid will send them to Polaris, 434 light years off.
You need to answer this question, because the purpose of the group is for people to contribute to the ongoing dialogue on how our culture collectively understands its role in shaping the future environment and to create a means by which we can collectively to analyze these perspectives ”.
Even if you do not care to contribute to the ongoing dialogue, you would probably like your words to reach Polaris someday, along with an excerpt from Carl Sagan from “Pale Blue Dot”(Pale blue dot) as well as part of“ On the Origins of the Species ”(on the origin of the species).
