Arne Exton has announced the latest release of the ExTiX operating system "The Ultimate Linux System" with Refracta Tools. This tool allows you to create your own Ubuntu distro.
Refracta Tools is installed by ExTiX by default Build 17.5 170508. You can use the tool to easily create your own GNU / Linux distribution, with predefined packages and customized settings to suit your needs.
The new version, ExTiX 17.7, comes with the Budgie interface and features the Refracta Tools to reinstall the operating system.
“I've made a new extra version of EXTiX with the Budgie desktop. Budgie focuses on simplicity and elegance and is designed for the modern user. EXTiX is installed with minimal packages. These are the packages you'll need, even when you run the Live version of EXTiX Budgie, from a DVD or USB stick. The four EXTiX systems are based on Ubuntu and Debian. While running ExTiX Budgie 17.7 Live or from a hard drive you can use Refracta Tools (preinstalled) to create your own Ubuntu system. ”
