Facebook announced support for 360 degrees

Facebook seems to be trying to make VR an integral part of it s, and today's announcement probably isn't a huge surprise: 360-degree photos are coming to your news feed.

What can you do with these photos?

If you click and drag with your mouse or move your phone you will be able to see the whole environment around the central theme, and of course the central theme of photography from all sides. The new feature will be compatible with both Oculus Rift and Gear VR.Facebook 360-degree photos

360 degree photos are much easier to compared to 360-degree videos as they require nothing more than a simple smartphone.

With the new feature of the largest social network, users will be able to upload flat panoramas, Google photospheres, or photos 360 degrees.

Google tried first to spread 360 degrees with the release of Photospheres three years ago, but we did not see it adopted as it was quite inconvenient.

Facebook did not announce the exact amount announcing the new feature, it simply said that the 360-degree photos will be available on mobile devices and online in the coming weeks.
