Facebook unveiled its new brand

Facebook has just unveiled its new brand through a marketing announcement by Antonio Lucio.

Facebook is changing its brand and apparently placing it in all of them belonging to her. The company's marketing manager, Antonio Lucio, issued a statement today with all the details.

Specifically, the Communication states:

Facebook started as a single application. Now, 15 years later, we offer a suite of products that help people connect with friends and family, find communities and grow businesses.

Today, we're updating our company branding to be clearer about products that come from Facebook. We are introducing a new corporate and further distinguish the Facebook company from the Facebook app, which will retain its own branding.

The New branding was designed for clarity and uses custom typography and capital graphics to create distinction between the company and the application.

People need to know which companies own the products they use. Our main services include the Facebook app, Messenger, Instagram, WhatsApp, Oculus, Workplace, Portal and Calibra. These apps and the , have had a common infrastructure for years and the teams behind them often work together.

We started to be clearer about the products and services that were part of Facebook years ago, adding a company endorsement to products like Oculus, Workplace and Portal. And in June we started to include "from Facebook" in all our applications. In the coming weeks, we will start using the new brand in marketing products and materials, including a new company website.

This brand change is a way of better communicating the ownership structure with the people and businesses that use our services to connect, share, create and grow their community.
