Facebook "Find Wi-Fi" available for everyone

Facebook Find Wi-Fi: Last year, Facebook began to test a feature that made it easier to find public Wi-Fi networks around you. It was only available on iOS devices and only in selected regions.

Today Facebook is rolling out the feature to everyone in front of the company's mobile apps. Just tap the 'More' tab and then select 'Find Wi-Fi'. You will see all nearby Wi-Fi locations in a list or on a map. In addition to the wireless connections, you will also find information about the companies that host them.

The new feature of Facebook, Find Wi-Fi will be very useful to you at all times, and especially if you are traveling abroad and do not have a data connection. There is often Wi-Fi somewhere around you, but getting a consistent one can be a problem especially if you don't know where the network is coming from.

Similarly, the feature is very useful if you use a limited data packet and try to use Wi-Fi as much as possible to avoid paying additional fees.

Keep in mind that the social networking tool only displays Wi-Fi networks where businesses have chosen to share their Facebook information, so you probably will not find all possible connections through the new service.

Be aware of what information is publicly shared:

Also note that Facebook will enable the Location service tracker αν ενεργοποιήσετε τη λειτουργία Εύρεση Wi-Fi, η οποία διατηρεί for all the places you visited.

For now though I checked her to me, the new feature does not seem to be available in Greece despite Facebook's announcement that mentions its availability at a global level. The device is an iPhone with an up-to-date social networking application.

Who knows can see the new feature later.

So waiting….
