According to Norwegian webσελίδα technology NRKbeta, Facebook has reported to data protection authorities (Data Protection Authority) for violations of European legislation on privacys in Norway, the Netherlands, Belgium, Spain, Portugal, Italy and Greece.
After revealing the scandal Facebook-Cambridge Analytica, the largest social network admitted that data was affected by 87 million members or about 27 million more than originally reported.
The company says US citizens have been particularly affected (sic, because European legislation is more rigorous), but it is now clear that data collection also affected users across Europe
The complaints to European data protection authorities, filed simultaneously by several consumer groups, allege that Facebook does not adequately protect its users' data, that the company is careless about third-party access to the data it collects, and that it did not fix nothing but what he knew about her leakage from 2015.
The European Data Protection Authorities (in the case of Greece, we are talking about Home Privacy Policy or Hellenic Data Protection Authority) may force Facebook to stop or change some of its practices.
