Get ready to see a bunch video 360 degrees in your Newsfeed. Facebook now allows any of you to stream 360-degree video to your page or profile, provided you have the right camera.
Facebook first released the 360 degrees last year, but only on a few selected pages. From today even your grandmother will be able to broadcast 360 live video.
Facebook will also support spatial audio for 360 broadcasts.
This audio format allows listeners to hear the sound 360 degrees - in other words, as if it were really there. There are currently no cameras that support spatial audio for live 360 video inherently, but Facebook says ambisonic microphones will work just fine.
Some cameras allow you to see reactions and comments within your livestream. There are several Appliances that support the feature, such as the latest Samsung Gear 360, or Insta360 and professional cameras, such as the Nokia Ozo.
Live 360 videos are now available for all Facebook profiles and pages.
