As of today, Facebook users Messenger will be able to transact with PayPal.
Those who had had a Messenger transaction would know they only supported payments via a debit card. But as it seems today and in an ironic way, Messenger adds support to PayPal before the popular Venmo app that is part of PayPal.
Facebook's Facebook app has also added a new feature that will alert you to every recent transaction with PayPal.
What does all of this mean?
As promised, Facebook slowly but surely seems to be turning Messenger into a full business app, and the ability to send and receive payments is only a small part of that process. PayPal came as just another choice on the table.
PayPal transactions will begin to circulate in the US today.
At the moment we do not know when we will see the new feature in Greece or others countries.
