Facebook will release two different extensions for the Chrome browser, one “Save” and one “Share”.
“Save” was first announced in the latter congress F8, and allows you to save Facebook articles to read later.
Facebook reports that over 300 million users already use the “Save” feature. The saved articles are located in a special tab on Facebook, or in the application, and can be accessed from any device.
You can save anything through the “Save” feature. So you can choose articles, video, images and product pages. Now in Chrome, if you open the “Save” extension it will also show you a list of what you have already saved, from where you can go straight to reading or view them via Facebook.
The Share extension is as simple as it sounds when you click, opens a publishing window where you can share what you want.
Both extensions will be released via the Chrome Web Store, and will be free.
