Facebook Sparked instant dating app

There is always room for another online dating app. The next application comes from Facebook and is called Sparked.

Sparked is one service that emphasizes matching people. It's free and has no public profiles, and no DMs. It is designed to fit people and talk as little as possible.

What is the Sparked service?

As The Verge first reported, Sparked is a new dating service from Facebook. The New Product Experimentation (NPE) team was created by a team of developers set up to test experimental ideas.

The Sparked service is currently accessible through a dedicated website, without any Android or iOS application. It is also geographically limited. In our tests, we were able to access the new service from the US, but not from Greece.

The Sparked homepage promises "quick acquaintances with kind people". Unlike other dating apps like Tinder or Hinge, Sparked does not have a public profile.

Sparked closes virtual dates that last four minutes. If you and the other one or the other start, you can then proceed with a new ten minute appointment. From there, exchange contact information to stay in touch.

When you sign up for Sparked, you're asked to make a positive pledge dating, which means you shouldn't set up dates, be polite, even if you haven't met your partner.

As you fill out your profile, you need to explain what makes you kind. Your answer will be reviewed by a member of the Sparked team before giving you access to .

You will also be asked if you want to date a trans. It is an additional question to determine if you want to date men, women or trans.

This means that Facebook currently has two dating services, as Facebook Dating still exists. Facebook Dating was launched in Europe in October 2020.

The Sparked service is an experiment. It may be released more widely and in more areas in the future, merged into Facebook Dating or terminate completely.
