According to Facebook, the News Feed will soon be clean of fake news, scams, or otherwise the well-known hoaxes.
Starting today, you will be able to mark a post as a hoax or fake news and Facebook will add a small comment noting that "many people on Facebook have reported that this story contains false information."
To date, you used the same method to flag posts as spam. By following the same procedure, you will find a new option today that will feature a false post. The old report window looked like the following picture:

At the moment the new feature is not available in Greece, but it will soon appear on settings Of course as you understood, Facebook is not going to delete the post. According to today's announcement:
We are not removing stories people report as false and we are not reviewing content and making a determination on its accuracy.
