You may have noticed that Facebook sometimes provides summaries of weather reports. It looks like the company is starting to roll out the feature, essentially adding a full weather forecast app built into the page's UI for desktop and mobile devices.
So from this week, the company began circulating local weather reports.
The new feature appears at the top of your News Feed and includes five days of forecasts. An interesting detail is that you are given the option to set alerts for these weather warnings, so you don't forget to take your umbrella.
Facebook has released the dedicated section that displays the weather in the iOS app and recently the feature appeared on Android as well. The biggest social network reports that something similar for PC is scheduled to appear sometime in March.
If you think that Facebook is one of the first pages that many open up with the awakening of the new feature seems to be a very welcome update.
