2016 is drawing to a close and the Facebook made it available to the public again feature notification of small video which recall important events of the year. So the friends of the largest social network will have the "opportunity" to share with their friends, happy or tearful stories from the whole of 2016.
I do not know how you find Facebook's established annual activity, but I personally think that its universal reception by members of the social network is somewhat exaggerated.
