Google's code hosting service, Google Code, is being terminated by the company. If you haven't moved your projects to GitHub, it's probably time to start "migrating."
The service started with 2006. Since then Google Code has been operating in the shade of GitHub for years. Today the company announced that the creation of new pr ojects has been deactivated. Since August of this year, the service will be read-only. So you will no longer be able to update your project, but you will be able to read and view the source code, themes and wikis.
Finally, at 25 on 2016 January, the service will close. After that, you will be able to download compressed files of your project. These downloads will be available by the end of 2016.
To help you transfer your code from the web page, Google has developed a tool etreatmentand porting to Github, as reported by TNW.
