The upcoming upgrade 21 of distribution Linux Fedora shows that it still has a lot of problems with the consequence of being postponed once again its release is pushed back for another weekteam.
If you read the announcements made during the development of any version of Fedora, you will notice that, from time to time, there is one who informs about how and why a particular version will be delayed. Of course, there are always good reasons for delays, but this tactic does not seem to be good for a business. Even if Fedora is a free distribution.
“Today at the Go/No-Go meeting it was decided to extend the Fedora 21 beta by one week due to unresolved bugs. As a result, all major releases, as well as dependencies, will go live after one week. The next Go/No-Go meeting is for Thursday, October 30 at 17:00 UTC and at channel #fedora-meeting-2 to FreeNode” , says Mr. Jaroslav Reznik in tactics information .
As you can imagine, it basically says that all dates after the previous one delay now they go back a week. So, the first beta for Fedora 21 should arrive on November 4th, followed by the final beta on November 25th, and the final release on December 9th. These dates are definitely not final, especially if we take a look at what has been mentioned so far errors which is already on the list and with the logic that it could always be presented new. We only hope that they will be manageable and that Red Hat will be able to deal with them this year.
