As we said in a previous release, the new Fedora 26 Beta is released today: The Fedora team has just released a new development snapshot of the Linux-based Linux distribution supported by Red Hat.
Fedora is one of the most popular GNU/Linux distributions. It is the result of the Fedora Project, a broad community of volunteers and is sponsored by Red Hat. The default Fedora's desktop environment is GNOME desktop with and the default interface is GNOME Shell. Of course, it also supports other desktop environments, such as: KDE, Xfce, LXDE, MATE and Cinnamon that are released as custom ISOs in Fedora spins.
New version development, Fedora 26 Beta, features updated versions of the GNU Compiler Collection and Go language. It also comes with a new partition manager for the program installationof the Fedora system.
"Fedora, always on the path to innovation, ships with the latest version of the GNU Compiler Collection, also known as GCC, bringing the latest language features and optimizations to users and in the software they develop. The latest version is 1.8, and it includes support for 32-bit MIPS and comes with speed improvements.
One of the most important changes is the addition of blivet-gui to the installer. This provides a 'building-blocks' style partitioning GUI for sysadmins and enthusiasts who know the ins and outs of storage systems.”
