Mohan Boddu has announced the release of a new Fedora development snapshot. The new development release is the Fedora 32 Beta, and includes EarlyOOM to "kill" memory processes before affecting the operating system.
The beta version also includes GNOME 3.36 which comes with a lot of performance improvements.
"In the new Fedora 32 Workstation Beta, EarlyOOM is enabled by default. EarlyOOM allows users to quickly regain control of their system in low memory states with heavy use of the swap compartment.
Fedora 32 Workstation Beta also has the fs.trim timer enabled by default, which improves performance and wear balance on SSDs.
Fedora 32 Workstation Beta includes comes with GNOME 3.36, its latest version surfaceς εργασίας GNOME, που διαθέτει πολλές βελτιώσεις στην απόδοση. Το GNOME 3.36 διαθέτει ένα button “Do Not Disturb” για τις alerts, improved parents controland virtualization, along with new tweaks to Settings.
