Fedora 43 Beta

The Fedora project has announced a new development release for Fedora 43. The new release, Fedora 43 Beta, focuses on new installation methods and automatic updates across all spins.

Anaconda WebUI for all Fedora spins by default: This creates a consistent and modern installation experience across all desktop Fedora variants. It brings us closer to finally replacing the older GTK installer. This ensures that all Fedora users can benefit from the same improved and user-friendly interface.

Anaconda Installer Switch to DNF5 : This change provides better support and debugging for package-based applications within Anaconda. It is another step towards the eventual removal of DNF4, which is now in maintenance mode.

Enable automatic updates by default in Fedora Kinoite : This change ensures that users will consistently run a system with the latest bug fixes and features after a simple reboot. Updates will be applied automatically in the background.
