The Mozilla Foundation will release Firefox 59.0 in the next few hours. The new Firefox 59 will reduce the number of visitors' information transmitted to websites in an attempt to improve privacy for users using the private browsing feature.
To prevent any data leakage, Firefox 59 has an updated private browsing option that removes any information sent to third parties.
"This change will prevent site owners from collecting user data and making them available to third parties" said the engineer of the Mozilla Foundation in Privacy Luke Crouch.
Users will also be able to change their default referral options to Firefox.
