Firefox will let you delete the data it collects

The Firefox in the new version it will find on January 7, will allow you to delete all the data it has collected.

Mozilla is taking this step in Firefox to comply with the regulation California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), which entered into force on 1 January.

The CCPA, which is similar to the Europes General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), gives the to people in to know and control the personal data collected by the websites.

And while CCPA is addressing residents in California, the new Firefox change will be released to all users, worldwide.

In a post, Firefox said that he already collects very little for its users. The telemetry it keeps is based on how many open tabs and how long the sessions are, but with the new update, you'll be able to delete those too.

Make sure you update your Firefox browser on January 7th. After you do this, refer to its settings or look for a guide on how to delete your data from it.
