Firefox Lockwise 4.0.1 password manager for Android

Mozilla has released Firefox Lockwise 4.0.1 password manager for Android devices. With a small update, it also added the ability to remove the telemetry collected with Mozilla telemetry.

As you may know, Firefox Lockwise is one passwords built into Firefox for desktop devices. It is also available as a standalone password manager app on Android and iOS devices.

When AutoComplete is selected in Android Options, Firefox Lockwise allows AutoComplete in all installed applications. The synchronization feature allows the saved passwords to be available on desktop devices as well as on mobiles where the application exists and is connected to your Firefox account.

In version 4.0.1, Firefox Lockwise can also send a special request for the δεδομένων τηλεμετρίας που έχουν συλλεχθεί από τους διακομιστές Mozilla όταν ο χρήστης απενεργοποιήσει την telemetry.

This change was made in accordance with the new directive added to the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), which aims to protect users' rights to the handling of their data by large companies.

It is worth noting that a similar change has been made to the Firefox application.
