How to set the minimum PIN length for BitLocker

Even if you are running 64 bit Windows you will still choose 32 bit. Name the newly created DWORD as MinimumPIN. Double-click MinimumPIN to modify its Value Data:

4. The defaults value for this DWORD is 6 , which means the minimum PIN length for BitLocker must be 6. You can set the value data from 6 to 20 in decimal, depending on your requirements. Enter the number of your choice. Click the OK button. Close Registry Editor and restart for the changes to take effect.
