Ford introduced two original electric bicycles at the Mobile World Congress to make cycling more secure on the streets of the city.
The two electric bikes, called MoDe: Me and MoDe: Pro, have an 200-watt electric motor and an amphibian 9 battery (Ah) They can develop a speed of up to 25km / h.
However, its electric bikes Ford they also have a sensor on their back that warns the rider if a car fast approaching, to take appropriate action if necessary.
In addition, the lights on the two edges of the steering wheel as well as the rear lights flash to warn the driver of the car.
Both bikes can be connected with Ford's original app MoDe:Link, which is only compatible with the iPhone 6. With this app, the users they can identify a desired destination and then get directions via steering wheel vibrations (simply vibrates their steering wheel handle in the direction you should turn) and at the same time flashes the turn signals automatically to let other road users know where they are going you will move.
Since both bikes are folding, when you do the intreatment of a desired destination, the results you'll get for possible routes could include cycling to the subway station as part of your route, for example. It even includes the cost of any public transport if you choose to include it in your itinerary.
The application of course can also guide you on bicycle-friendly roads as well as warn you of other possible dangers. Of course, if you feel a little tired and have difficulty with the pedal, you can always get a little electrical help.
