Galaxy Note 8 is said to have created a new record on screen brightness in smartphones, according to the DisplayMate test company.
The new 6.3 inch Quad HD + Super AMOLED Infinity Display is one of the special screens that comes with the Galaxy Note 8. Galaxy Note 8 is a successor a phone that Samsung wants to be forgotten by everyone.
The device was tested by DisplayMate, which states that the Galaxy Note 8 has the best screen ever tested, with several key improvements over the Galaxy S8, which has been rated as an A +.
Galaxy Note 8 should react much better to sunlight thanks to the top brightness of the screen that is above 1.200 nits.
The number means it's 22 percent brighter than the Galaxy S8 and brighter than all other smartphones on the market, including iPhone 7, whose peak brightness reaches 705 nits.
Η Infinity screen also created 14% more space on the screen without changing its size Samsung's "explosive" predecessor.
The display of the Note 8 performs very well in the Colour, with a wider range of colors and four screen modes to display different content, such as photos or movies. DisplayMate reports that the Note 8 can play 4K content made for 4K UHD TVs.
Other notable additions to the display include a new mode night light with blue filter for less disturbed night reading and dual ambient light sensors for better and automatic brightness.
It also has three power-saving features to reduce the screen's impact on the battery. This mode reduces the brightness and adjusts the background to black.
The Galaxy Note 8 is currently available for pre-orders and will be available in the US, UK and South Korea on September 15.
