Gmail Sender Icons is an extension of the program browsing Chrome that adds information from the domain and icons to their lists messages that you receive via Gmail.
Gmail as we know it shows none information for the sender of the email other than the selected name. However, the name is not the best clue, as it can be freely chosen by the sender of the message.
Gmail Sender Icons is a relatively simple extension of Chrome. Adds the domain to which the message is sent and the favicon of the domain to all Gmail emails. This allows you to check at a glance where the messages are supposed to be sent.
How does it work;
The additional Gmail parses the domain from the address and pulls the favicon icon (often the same as the logo). Then it adds the logo image and the company's domain as a tag to theme of the message, thus facilitating the identification of the sender.
The extension is only available for Google Chrome at this time. It may work on other Chromium-based browsers.
