That's it gmail Sender icons is one extension of the formerletterof browsing Chrome which adds information from the domain and icons in their lists messages that you receive via Gmail.
Gmail as we know it does not display any information about the sender of the email except the selected one name. However, the name is not the best clue, as it can be freely chosen by the sender of the message.
Gmail Sender Icons is a relatively simple Chrome extension. Adds the domain to which the message and icon (favicon) of the domain in all Gmail emails. This enables you to check at a glance where the messages were supposedly sent from.
How does it work;
The Gmail plugin analyzes the domain from the address and pulls the favicon icon (often the same as the logo). It then adds the image of the logo and the company domain as a tag to the subject of the message, thus facilitating the identification of the sender.
The extension is only available for Google Chrome at this time. It may work on other Chromium-based browsers.
