After announcing the lifting of the size limit 50MB with new boundariesThe Google announced that the Gmail app has been updated with more new features and improvements.
Obviously, you know that there is already support for Exchange accounts in Gmail. But today, a new version of Gmail for the Android platform allows the app to sync all of its work with Exchange.
“Last year we added support for Exchange accounts to the Gmail app, so you can use a familiar email app for both work and personal business. We've also added a 'find a time' feature to Google Calendar that works with everyone's schedule," said Google product director Janice Wong in a publication.
In addition, the users Gmail will now be able to create tasks, edit their date or priority, and flag an email as a to-do for a later reply.
According to Google, Android users will not need to know how to use the app after updating as there will be no changes to the interface that will remain smart and familiar.
“The Gmail app for Android comes enterprise-ready so your IT department can deploy securely. The Gmail app also works with management "so you can skip any complicated installation steps," said Wong.
The latest version of Gmail for Android is already in the Google Play Store. Unfortunately for now, there aren't any information for some similar update for the iOS version of the app.
