Usually, whenever a new feature is released for Windows, Microsoft advertises it on its blog to let everyone know. However, one useful feature slipped through the cracks, only to be discovered years later.
So there is an unknown (to some) Emergency Restart method for Windows 11. Although some claim that the method has existed since Windows XP, which was released 20 years ago, we have not documented it.
To access Emergency Restart, press the CTRL + ALT + DEL keys on your computer, a fairly common shortcut.
However, this time, hold down the CTRL key and click the power button in the lower right corner of the screen.
This action results in an on-screen message stating that you are attempting an Emergency Restart, adding “Click OK to restart immediately. Any unsaved data will be lost.” 
The statement concludes, “Use only as a last resort.” Click “OK” and your computer will shut down and restart normally.
Wondering what the difference is between this emergency method and a regular restart? The answer lies in the term “last resort.” The method is an alternative to a hard reset.
This emergency restart is useful when your computer may have frozen to the point where nothing works and it doesn't respond to anything other than CTRL + ALT + DEL.
If you want another method, launch the Command Prompt and type “shutdown /r” to restart your machine. Instructions for other shutdown methods can be found on the Microsoft Learn website.
