Google adds HTTPS Support to Blogger

Seven years after HTTPS was added to her, h has now turned her attention to Blogger (or Blogspot).

google blogger

The blogging platform will finally get HTTPS , as part of the company's effort to put HTTPS service everywhere. So far the HTTPS service exists in Google's search engine, Gmail, Drive, Calendar, and most recently AdWords.

The company took this measure primarily to protect users living in countries with strict legislative censorship, allowing HTTPS bloggers to write articles and opinions without being hampered by ISPs.

The change to HTTPS will not happen simultaneously to all users, and is currently only opt-in. If you want to turn it on, follow these simple steps:

Step 1: Sign in to your account at Blogger.

Step 2: Click the blog you want to add HTTPS support.

Step 3: Go to the "Settings" section.

Step 4: Find the "HTTPS settings" option and select "Yes" from the drop-down that appears next to "HTTPS Availability".

This is.

To get the green padlock in the address bar you have to remove the unsafe links one by one from your first one (at least).
