Google today announced the new Android 7.1 Developer Preview. The preview is expected to be released later this month while the final version is scheduled for December.
Google stated that Android 7.1 Nougat is the latest version of the platform and includes new features for users and developers. Some of the new features are support for Daydream VR support and A/B system updates. Additionally, it will come with new app shortcuts and image keyboard support.
Later this month, Google will release the new Android 7.1 Preview Developer, για να μπορούν να δοκιμάσουν οι προγραμματιστές πως να αξιοποιήσουν better τη νέα έκδοση. Το Preview Developer θα διανεμηθεί μέσω του προγράμματος Beta Android.
The Android 7.1 Developer Preview will first be released for Nexus 5X, Nexus 6P, and Pixel C devices. Other devices will follow until the end of the preview.
The final release will be released in early December for the Nexus 6, 5X, 6P, 9, Player, Pixel C, and Android One. The new Pixel and Pixel XLs will be updated in December.
