Google published an online advertising to which the long-awaited AI chatbot Bard gave an inaccurate answer:
The company published a short GIF video of Bard in action via Twitter, describing the chatbot as a “launchpad for curiosity” that will help simplify complex topics.
In the ad, Bard is asked: “What new discoveries from the space telescope James Webb (JWST) can I tell my 9 year old?”
Bard gives several answers, including one that states that the James Webb Space Telescope was used to take the first pictures of a planet outside Earth's solar system, or an exoplanet.
This is of course inaccurate, as the first photos of exoplanets were taken by the European Southern Observatory's Very Large Telescope (VLT) in 2004, as also confirmed by NASA.
It's the best update and obviously the best platform I've seen
