Η Google posted an online ad in which the much-anticipated AI chatbot Bard gave an inaccurate answer:
The company published a short GIF video of Bard in action via Twitter, describing the chatbot as a “launchpad for curiosity” that will help simplify complex topics.
In the ad, Bard is asked: “What new discoveries from space telescope James Webb (JWST) can I tell my 9 year old?”
The Bard gives several answers, including one stating that the James Webb Space Telescope was used for λήψη of the first photographs of a planet outside Earth's solar system or an exoplanet.
This is of course inaccurate, as the first pictures of exoplanets were taken by the European Southern Observatory's Very Large Telescope (VLT) in 2004, as also confirmed by NASA.
