Google has just released a new little update for Chrome 73 as it prepares for another major update later this month.
With the current update, the Google Chrome it reaches version 73.0.3683.103 on all supported platforms surfaceof work, i.e. for Windows, Linux and macOS. Needless to say, this is a minor update that brings no new features, and you can check out the full changelog from here.
One major issue that this update doesn't seem to fix is a bug that gives some users a flickering screen in Windows 10. Today's mood is very likely to be last update for Google Chrome 73, as the company pushes for another big update later this month.
Google Chrome 74 is expected to be released on April 23 and will be available on all supported platforms, including mobile devices.
Meanwhile, the number of Chromium-based browsers is rising, with adding Microsoft Edge, which also migrates from EdgeHTML to the same mechanism. Microsoft is expected to formally release a preview of construction of the new preletterbrowser in the coming weeks, while the stable version of the new Edge should be released on Windows 10 and other supported platforms sometime in 2019.
