Just hacks to make Google Chrome better

Friend of Google ; Think of browsers as the vehicle that travels the web. But every vehicle needs some maintenance. Below we will look at simple hacks to make Google Chrome better, faster, and use less RAM.

Google Chrome is now the most popular browser. It is a powerful, reliable platform that produces many productive capabilities with the use of extensions. There are also many tweaks that show browser features hidden in its code. Google Chrome

If you do not have Google Chrome, you can download it from here. Chrome is available for Windows, Mac and Linux, iOS and Android.

If you already have Google Chrome installed, then the first thing you need to do is check if you need to update your browser. From iGuRu.gr we strongly recommend updating (perhaps with some reservations about Microsoft updates).

You can see if there's an update because the burger menu (the three line icon in the top right corner of the browser) has changed from green, yellow and red something to give you a reminder that an update is needed.

As a rule, closing and restarting Chrome is all you need to see if there is an update, but you can also see it from:

 chrome: // help

Now that you're running a Chrome update, you can start removing any unwanted extensions and plugins you've used over months or maybe years after you started using the browser.

To do this, type

Chrome: //

in the address bar. You can uncheck the box to disable the extension or do on the trash icon to delete it.

Then type

chrome: // plugins

in the address bar to check your plugins. Just click on the link to disable it.

Then if you are getting used to browsing with many tabs open, you may have noticed that it uses too much RAM. Below are a few extensions to help you get as many tabs as you want without having to consume memory.

You can choose:

Tab Wrangler
One Tab
The Great Suspender

Another way to improve browser performance is to clean the cache.

If Chrome is running for some time, the cache fills with your browsing history. Deleting caches free disk space, but your browser also makes it easier to use.

Type:

chrome: // settings / clearBrowserData

in the address bar and decide what you want to delete. I would recommend her Cached images and files. Alternatively, you can delete everything and start with a completely clean browser.

Check your browser for malware.
To scan for the installation of Chrome for malware, Google has developed it Chrome Cleanup Tool for Windows users.

You could also scan your program for your favorite Anti-Malware.

Useful shortcuts

There are too many keyboard shortcuts for Google Chrome, but we'll see the most usable ones
