Η επέκταση του Chrome έρχεται δωρεάν και μπορεί να “πιάσει” screenshots από την surface work as well as video screencasts. Videos can even be uploaded directly to YouTube or Google Drive through the SnagIt app.
The most recent version of it Chrome Snagit allows you to save your screencast videos as animated GIFs, a format that's perfect for quickly publishing short demos. The only condition is that the duration of your recorded video must be up to 20 seconds. The GIF is sent to your Google Drive or you can download it locally.
If you do not use the latest version of Google Chrome, it may take a few steps to turn on screencasting support in your browser.
The first step is to install the SnagIt app and the extension from the Chrome Store (both available for free). Then you should go from your browser to chrome: // flags and click on the setting that says Enable Screen Capture Support or Enable Screen Capture Support to getUserMedia (). Restart the Chrome browser.
Like other Chrome screen sharing apps, SnagIt uses WebRTC to capture the screencast. When you press the record button, a session starts modeς κοινής χρήσης ιδιωτικής οθόνης, χωρίς άλλους συμμετέχοντες, και όλες οι δραστηριότητες της οθόνης σας αποθηκεύονται σαν αρχείο .AVI.
The only downside is that the SnagIt extension for Chrome can capture either your entire desktop screen or a single browser window. This means you can not choose a custom area.
Another good alternative is the Screencastify extension for Chrome. Videos are saved as .WebM files that play in almost all modern browsers without plugins. Screencast videos can upload to Youtube and Google Drive, but it does not create GIFs.
