Google is rather ubiquitous. It has the most popular search engine, the most popular browser (Chrome), the most popular e-mail service post officey (Gmail), the most popular video site (YouTube) and then there are a bunch of other services like Google Maps, Street View and many more.
From all these services Google collects data your. where you are from, what you are looking for, what you are watching or even who you are talking to.
The company, of course, stores all your data until you delete it. After a recent change performed, you can automatically delete your Google Account data after 3 or 18 months.
Let's see how:
Deleting data can be done in the same way on your Google Account and G Suite accounts.
Visit this address in the browser you are using. Sign in to your Google account if you're not already signed in. The activity control page will open. Click Manage activity or manage activity.
On the next screen, find and click Web & App activity. In the box that opens you will see that the activity of your web and applications is monitored, and by default it is set to save until you delete it yourself.
In this option, you will see a new one called "Choose to delete automatically" or "Choose to delete automatically". Click on this setting.
You will see a pop-up window that gives you two options to automatically delete your data. The options are to delete data after 18 months and also after 3 months. These are the only two options available.
Select one to automatically delete Google data.
It looks like Google wants to keep our data for at least 3 months. According to the company, this data is necessary to suggest relevant content.
Of course you have the ability to delete your data manually and if you want, you can do it every day. It's tedious, but it's the only way if you do not want your data on Google servers for a long time.
