After disposition supports for voice typing last September, Google Docs continues to innovate. Today, the company announced that it will also support voice commands for Documents opened in Chrome.
These new commands will be able to specify any kind of formatting you want to use in Google Docs. For example, you can highlight and replace a word, create lists, or change the format in the title. But there are also commands for more complex tasks, such as creating tables.
You can see a complete list of them voice commands from here.
Adding voice commands to Docs, Google has virtually become a complete software utility that is free for everyone.
So people with access problems or just those who would like to experience the sense of dictation can use their voice instead of hitting keys.
At this time, the feature is only available for Chrome users on computers. It would be great to see it in the future in mobile devices.
The new feature is available today, all over the world.
