Google announced Family Link, wanting to prove that there is a better way of parental control than those used by Apple and Microsoft.
With Google's Family Link app, you can have peace of mind when the child explores their Android device.
The app allows you to create a Google account just for your child that you can control. At the same time, you can set some basic digital rules that will work for your family.
For example, you can define which apps your child can manage, and also specify a time that closes your child's device.
The new Google app is still under test, and you'll need to ask for an invitation from the company. It can run on Android Nougat devices (7.0) and some with Marshmallow (6.1) listed in the FAQ.
