Google is preparing to get rid of flash completely. Continuing its efforts, the company announced that it will advertisements on the Web less annoying. Starting today, the company will automatically convert ads developed with Flash to HTML5.
Ads will be automatically converted to HTML5 when loaded through AdWords, AdWords Editor, or whatever tools third parties.
Although not all ads can be converted, the change will still affect a large portion of new ad campaigns.
Η Google has been reporting since September that it will begin automatically converting ads to HTML5 to make web content available to mobile phones as well. Recall that the company last month began to display YouTube on all devices in HTML5.
