The combination of Google Glass with a set of special "bracelets" can create a virtual keyboard that will only be visible to its user. This at least supports researchers at Mälardalen University in Sweden.
The system is still in the development phase and its specifications have not yet been finalized. However, its development uses robotic vision technology developed in earlier programs.
The set of "bracelets" is worn on the wrists or on the palms (depending on the final design to be preferred) and incorporates sensors that are able to pinpoint the exact position of the fingertips and the movements of the user's hands.
At the same time, the bracelets will allow you to control a virtual mouse and control through gestures. According to Gizmag, this technology could be used in other applications other than typing, such as video games or music.
The goal of the research team is to create a system that can be easily transported and can be used to a minimum available space, thus solving some of the problems of using physical keyboards.
