Google today announced a new dimension in e-mail, the Google Inbox. The free application - service includes reminders, similar messages together and highlights important messages. The Inbox looks like a link between Mailbox and Google Now.
A helper attribute will provide relevant information such as phone numbers, opening hours, maps, reminders, and emails.
Inbox is currently a service that you can only invite to, but you can request one from inbox [at] google.com. The service will be available online via Chrome only, for iOS 7 + and Android 4.1 +. Versions for tablets and other modern browsers will be available soon.
Google does not intend Inbox to replace Gmail. Actions you take on each product will automatically appear in the other. Inbox will use your Gmail and Google names.
