The Wall Street Journal reports that Google is working to develop an Android VR version.
It's a move that was probably expected from the company when devices like the Oculus Rift seems to have met the full acceptance of the consumer public.
According to the Wall Street Journal, they are already working on the project "dozens of texnikoi" with the aim of developing a version of the Android operating system that will be able to run virtual reality applications.
Google, as reported by TheVerge, declined to comment on the report. The company's move comes in the wake of the purchase from the Facebook for Oculus' $2000000000 billion, and Oculus' move to develop new forms of storytelling that use virtual reality.
VR (virtual reality) will be the theme at the Game Developers Conference this week in San Francisco where Sony's new device from Valve and Project Morpheus will steal the impressions.
The Journal reports that Android VR is being developed by Clay Bavor and Jeremy Doug.
