Google forces YouTube Vanced, a popular YouTube app for Android, to close "for legal reasons"
With the introduction of YouTube Vanced because you requested it, the service goes for closing !!. The popular YouTube Vanced app has been shut down following a legal threat from Google. The creators of Vanced revealed on Twitter that the project will close in the next few days, and the download links will be removed.
Although the app will continue to work for anyone who currently has it installed on Android, it will have no future updates and so it is likely to stop working at some point soon. The owners of Vanced say they were forced to suspend the project "for legal reasons".

Vanced is the latest victim in Google's crackdown on third-party apps they have access on YouTube. Google-owned YouTube took two popular music bots, Groovy Discord and Rythm Discord, offline last year before it began testing YouTube's integration with Discord.
