To March (7 March of 2018) Google stated that Google Lens, an application that uses artificial intelligence για τον εντοπισμό αντικειμένων χρησιμοποιώντας την κάμερα του τηλεφώνου, θα διατεθεί σε όλους τους users of Google Photos on Android.
Today Google has released a standalone Google Lens app through Google Play, allowing anyone without the feature to access it on their Android device. The Google Lens app used above uses artificial intelligence to provide information from images you've taken (clothes, books, buildings, etc.).
Although you can download the Google Lens app, it doesn't seem to be compatible with all Android devices. For example, it will work perfectly on the Samsung Note 8, but not on the Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus. Other users have reported that the app is not working on Moto Z Play, Nokia 7 Plus and Xiaomi Mi A1. On Google Play, the app's installation specifications state that Android Marshmallow and above are required.
So far, the Google Lens app works in the camera apps of the Pixel, Pixel 2, Sony Xperia XZ2 and XZ2 Compact devices, as well as some OnePlus devices. Google said during I/O that the platform initially works on 10 different Android devices, but didn't specify which ones. except από τις συσκευές Pixel. Η Google είχε αποκαλύψει τότε μόνο τους κατασκευαστές των 10 συσκευών: LG, Motorola, Xiaomi, Sony Mobile, HMD/Nokia, Transsion, TCL, OnePlus, BQ and Asus.
If you have Android devices not included in the list, the Lens app will probably not work…
