Google Maps with real-time traffic information

The application , except of the last hesitantly, can be quite useful in for you, since its maps are among the most up-to-date available. google maps
But Google seems to want to get more information on its maps, and has announced a new pretty useful feature, especially for those living in a city. The traffic ή traffic information comes with its mobile app Google Maps and integrates traffic information into your browser.

The new feature works in two different ways.

Traffic information is displayed instantly when you enter your destination into the app.

The app will let you know about congestion, pavement repairs or any other obstacles that can slow down the route to your destination.

The information is updated as you follow the instructions provided by Google Maps.

You can receive traffic congestion alerts that will include estimates s, to know what time you will arrive.

The Google Maps app can suggest alternative routes while you're driving, explaining why it's suggesting a change of direction. The reasons for changing your route may be increased incidents s on the original route or simply because the alternative route is the fastest to reach your destination.

It seems that the new feature is still being distributed. Google has not mentioned anything about whether app reports will be limited to certain geographic areas.

We hope to see the new feature soon in Greece as well.
